Northern California's Coalition of Working Peace Officer Associations
Welcome to NALE California!
The Northern Alliance of Law Enforcement (NALE) represents nearly 40,000 working peace officers throughout Northern California. Our mission is to ensure that California's peace officers are allowed the opportunity to protect and serve without unreasonable risk, and with the greatest degree of support possible from their state and local governments, their elected officials and their citizens. Our member organizations include city, county and statewide associations representing peace officers performing a wide range of law enforcement duties
and functions.
NALE is active in protecting the rights of peace officers,
in supporting competitive law enforcement wages and benefits, in improving peace officer working conditions, and in educating the public about the need for a strong and well-trained, community-based law enforcement presence. NALE is pro-active in the legislative and political arena, ensuring that laws and initiatives supporting strong law enforcement are passed, and candidates who place a priority on public safety are elected and supported in their important work.
Please excuse our very limited access to the website while we are making important site renovations.
We anticipate being back online with full access for our members and visitors by June 15, 2010.
In the interim, please submit any mail or messages to NALE by email at nalecalifornia@yahoo.com
or simply click on "Contact Us" in the navigation bar above to leave us your message or request for
more information.
Thank you for your continued support!
Call to Action!! (from the El Dorado County DSA)
The El Dorado County Deputy Sheriffs' Association is calling upon all NALE member organizations
to show support for the DSA's fight to protect peace officer wages, currently endangered
by potential repeal of the County's Charter. County Supervisors will be considering whether a
Charter Repeal measure will be placed on the November ballot--- a move that would clearly and immediately
endanger deputy sheriff wages, and eliminate term limits and local laws enacted by the voters.
Please help the El Dorado County DSA by showing up in support of their deputy sheriffs.
